在漁護署及大龍實驗農場的協助下，木子有機農場正式成立了。木子透過漁護署的復耕組成功在2011年租得土地，從而開始運作及經營。農場主人最初的理念是透過健康又有益的田園耕作生活，鋪排日後的退休生活。
