身處現今這個資訊泛濫的數碼時代，普羅大眾不斷被鼓吹關於視覺效果和解像度的追求。而聲音作為另一主要媒介，其流行的格式質素卻每況越下。人們缺乏對聲音質素的認知和鑒賞力，間接讓聲音媒體的發展停滯不前，傳統製作行業甚至逐漸式微。KICKSOUND的成立，正是為了推動本地的聲音製作文化，普及專業音響技術，提高公眾對於聲音媒體的關注。我們當中有音樂人，音響設計，工程師，聲音藝術家。我們不但擁有專業錄音室從事音樂及聲音製作，更不斷引入環球不同廠牌的專業音響設備，為消費者提供更多元化的選擇。

我們推廣家用錄音室（home studio）文化，幫助音樂愛好者設立自己的家用製作平台，讓更多人主動參與音樂創作。此外更提倡“studio home”，錄音室設備家用化，將專業的聲音處理系統和監聽喇叭帶進客廳，務求使用家直接享受到製作人所聽到的，最巨細無遺的聲效。

我們亦致力為機構和商戶設立更好的音響系統，從專業錄音室到現場擴音設備，無論是安裝，調音，操作教學到售後服務都一應俱全。銷售的產品會以好的聲音質素為首要目標，並有專人跟進，解答和協助顧客解決一切技術上的疑難。

另外我們不斷推出製作人的專訪， 音響專題講座等活動，向公眾介紹製作行業的運作和知識。未來我們會建立更豐富的資訊平台，使聲音，音樂製作行業得到更廣泛注視。

We are in such a technological era where visual effects are so overwhelming that people are prone to the pursuit of images and colours while sound, being another major media, is usually considered secondary with almost no importance. The set-up of KICKSOUND hopes to play a role in popularizing sound media equipments and sound art in the territory. Our team includes members who are musicians, sound designers, engineers and sound artists. Not only do we own a professional studio where musicians can enjoy their production, we also provide consumers with choices of professional sound equipment from a wide range of world-wide brands. Consulting service is also provided for people who hope to start up their own studio as a proactive participation to music creation. In the future we will participate and promote sound installation art. Through the facilities we provide, artists are given more perspective and space for creation.
