「城市閘誌」社區藝術計劃，以藝術創作記錄口述歷史及地區故事。藝術團隊以港島區作為創作根據地，為二十道原本冷冰冰又毫不起眼的鐵閘度身訂造獨特的畫作，活現出店主個性或小店歷史回憶。讓鐵閘說出二十個社區小故事，留住屬於香港的集體回憶。
Every shop has a history. Every shutter tells a story.
HK Urban Canvas is a community art project devised to enhance community inclusion and highlight unique aspects of local culture through art and oral history. To showcase local shop owners and reflect their personalities and the stories behind their businesses, a group of local artists created 20 unique works of shutter art. The powerful images commemorate local history, collective memories and the important contributions of our community neighbours.
