Fondée en 1964, le Lycée Français International de Hong Kong scolarise plus de 2600 élèves de la maternelle à la terminale en provenance de 40 pays différents. Sa spécificité est d’offrir deux enseignements. La filière française conventionnée par l'Agence pour l'enseignement français à l'étranger (AEFE) suit les programmes de l’Education Nationale et mène au diplôme national du brevet et au baccalauréat français. La filière internationale offre une éducation basée sur le système britannique pour les élèves de 4 à 16 ans (RC à Y11) et mène à l’IGCSE (accréditation de «Cambridge IGCSE Examination Centre) puis prépare les élèves en Y13 au baccalauréat international (IB) (accréditation de l’IB World School).
Le LFI offre un enseignement académique de haut niveau qui mise sur l’apprentissage des langues : français, anglais , mandarin, allemand, latin et espagnol. Les diplômés du LFI intègrent les meilleures universités du monde.

The French International School of Hong Kong welcomes more than 2,600 students, aged 4 to 18, from over 40 nationalities. Its offers two streams: French and International. The French Stream is linked by convention to the Agency for French Education Abroad (AEFE), which follows the programmes directed by the French Ministry of Education leading to the “diplôme national du brevet” and the French “baccalauréat”. The International Stream which follows a curriculum broadly based on the UK curriculum with an international focus leading to IGCSE (University of Cambridge International Examinations) examinations in Y11, and the International Baccalaureate (IBO Geneva) Diploma programme in Y13. FIS graduates pursue their studies in the best universities of the world.
