Sanskrit is the brainchild of Komal Mirchandani who believes that Western knowledge combined with age-old, traditional Indian techniques, produces garments which are fresh and innovative while retaining their Indian charm. This is Sanskrit’s ideology.
It’s an elegant concoction of legacy and innovation. The range is sexy, funky and graceful with a burst of colours and exquisite embroidery only presented from the most excellent in India. Starting in 2002, Sanskrit carries collections from over 35 of India’s leading designers, some of whom have done embroideries for top European brands and are fashion powerhouses in their own right.
