中神的異象孕育於美國六十年代，於香港1975年成立，目的在栽培華人教會所需的人才，傳揚福音，牧養信徒，建立教會，擴展神國。時代巨輪不停轉動，中神亦與時並進，多年來經常在神學教育上反思和整合，不斷作新的嘗試，為華人神學教育盡一分力量，心懷祖國，服侍教會，造就信徒。
